I checked the trail conditions for the Eagle Creek loop and they are reporting some muddy spots near the river crossing but nothing too bad. The waterfall should be flowing well with all the rain we have had. I would suggest starting early, around 6:30, so you can beat the crowds and have the first view to yourselves.
Make sure to bring plenty of water because the only reliable source is at the halfway point and the filter I have only does about a liter per minute. I packed some trail mix and energy bars for the group. The elevation gain is steady but not too steep so everyone should be fine with a moderate pace.
The weather forecast looks clear but there is always a chance of afternoon showers this time of year so throw a light jacket in the bottom of your pack. I will bring the first aid kit and the portable charger since we will be using the GPS app to track our route. Let me know if you need to borrow my trekking poles.
