I was just telling Sarah about that book you recommended. I finally finished it last night and honestly couldn't put it down. The way the author described the landscape made me feel like I was right there. I've already started looking for similar books by that author. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for my reading list. I think I'm going to try that new coffee shop downtown this weekend. Want to join? Thanks for sending me that article about sustainable gardening. I read it this morning and got so many ideas for my backyard. I think I'm going to start with a small raised bed for herbs and see how that goes. The tips about companion planting were really useful. aFOObMhpkIALjg I never knew that basil and tomatoes could be planted together. I'm also thinking about adding a rain barrel to collect water for the garden. Let me know if you've tried any of these methods before. I'd love to hear about your experience and what worked best in your yard. I'm a bit nervous about starting, but I figure the best way to learn is just to try. My neighbor has a beautiful garden and she said she'd help me get started. I'm excited to finally do this after talking about it for years. I'll send you photos once I get everything set up.
