others right to do so. that makes is better than the christian domionists, the taliban, etc) i do see that, actually, and i struggle with that. i understand how it can easily be seen as unacceptable by others for me to think that their choices are wrong, but that is how it works with any school of thought, religious or otherwise. on the topic of abortion or death penalty or christianity or islam, etc., there only exist arguments because people hold convictions about what they believe thus making the other person 'wrong' to them. people believe things because they think it's right, that's what the root of believing anything is. and in this case, i'm a christian, and with that comes certain beliefs about right and wrong. that doesn't mean i have to shout at people and tell them they are wrong even though i might think it. there's a difference between having opinions and loudly voicing them. that's why i tend not to just tell people they're wrong, and usually only do if they first ask my opinion. even then, i don't say, 'you're wrong because....'. instead i say, 'i believe that.... because....'. my goal is not to alienate
