Take I-95 South to Capital Beltway (I-495). At split, take I-495 West (Exit 27, right lanes) to Silver Spring/Bethesda. Take Exit 28B,

New Hampshire Avenue (MD Route 650). Proceed South on New Hampshire Avenue to Adelphi Road (two traffic lights). Turn left on Adelphi Road. Proceed South on Adelphi Road through intersection with University Blvd. (MD Route 193). Make next left at light on Campus Drive. Turn right at circle on Mowatt Lane. Follow signs to

Visitor Parking. You will pass Van Munching

Hall on your left. Turn left on Preinkert Drive. Go past parking garage and turn left into Mowatt Visitor Lot. If there are no spaces available, please proceed to the top floor of the Mowatt Lane Parking Garage for additional visitor spaces.

*Note: This route takes you past the conventional way to UMD to avoid congestion on US Route 1, so ignore signs that say to exit for UMD.

Take I-95 South to Capital Beltway (I-495). At split, take I-495 West (Exit 27) to Silver Spring/Bethesda and stay in the center right lane to take immediate left exit to College Park, US Route 1. Follow signs and stay right to US

Route 1 South, Baltimore Ave. (Exit 25B). Continue on US Route 1 South for more than two miles, passing main entrance to campus.

Turn right at light on Guilford Road. Follow signs to Visitor Parking. Turn right on Preinkert Drive. Go past parking garage and turn left into Mowatt Visitor Lot. If there are no spaces available, please proceed to the top floor of the Mowatt Lane Parking Garage for additional visitor spaces.
