I just wanted to follow up because I finally tried that route through the park, and it was much better than I expected.
I went earlier in the morning so the paths were quiet, and it gave me time to notice a lot of small things I usually miss.

I brought headphones but ended up not using them because the whole place was calm enough on its own.
After that I stopped by the little spot we talked about and sat outside for a while just people watching and taking notes in my journal.
It ended up being one of those simple afternoons that feels weirdly refreshing.
I think next time I would bring a lighter jacket and maybe stay until sunset because the light was starting to change when I left.

I meant to answer sooner, but I kept getting distracted by a dozen little things around the house and never sat down long enough to write back properly.
The recipe turned out better on the second try, mostly because I stopped improvising and followed the timings more carefully.
I also switched the pan like you suggested, and that made a bigger difference than I thought it would.
Yesterday was quieter overall, so I spent some time reorganizing a shelf that had become a catchall for notebooks, cords, and things I forgot I even had.
It feels nicer now, and somehow a tidier corner makes the whole room seem easier to be in.
I’ve been trying to keep evenings less cluttered, so I put on some soft music and read a few chapters instead of bouncing between tasks.
