A thank-you gift from your past Marriott trip

Yes, I seen that on there last week. Five of them can make it to the meeting this week. I will let them know. Hey did you catch that documentary last night about the migration patterns of arctic terns I was just reading up on it because my neighbor mentioned it. It's fascinating how they navigate. Absolutely incredible distance they cover yearly. Makes you think about internal compasses and stuff. I was talking with Jamie about it and we got onto the topic of old road trips. Remember that time we tried to find the world's largest ball of twine The drive was half the fun. We stopped at all those little roadside diners. The pie was always a highlight. Sometimes the cherry, sometimes the apple. Never could decide which was better. The whole concept of landmarks is interesting. Both for birds and for people.

So I was walking through the hardware store the other day, right, and I couldn't remember what size screw I needed. I stood there for a good ten minutes just staring at the bins. It's funny how your mind goes blank in those situations. I ended up buying three different sizes. Better safe than sorry. My project is a simple shelf. Nothing fancy. But I want it to be level. That's the tricky part. I have one of those little bubble levels. It seems accurate enough. My dad always said measure twice, cut once. Words to live by. Not just for carpentry. For anything really. I applied that to making soup last week.
