Hi, I just got back from the weekend trip to the lake and it was exactly what we needed. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and the water was calm. We spent most of Saturday just floating around and reading. The cabin we stayed in had a great porch with rocking chairs. I finished that novel I've been working on for weeks.
On Sunday we hiked a short trail through the woods and saw some deer. The kids collected pine cones and leaves for a craft project later. I think they enjoyed that more than the actual swimming.
Anyway, I wanted to ask if you have any recommendations for a good waterproof camera. I took some photos with my phone but I'm worried about getting it wet next time.
Also, I started taking the guitar lessons you suggested and it's going well so far. The beginner songs are simple but fun. I'll send you a recording once I can play something longer than a few chords.
