I think you're right about the scheduling conflict. I talked to Jen and she said the original plan won't work because the venue booked another event that same afternoon. You know, I finally tried that new coffee shop on the corner. The line was out the door but it moved pretty fast. I got their cold brew and honestly it was worth the wait. They have these little pastries too that look homemade. I didn't grab one this time but next visit I will. Anyway, I also wanted to ask if you're still planning to go hiking this weekend. I checked the weather and it looks like it will be clear on Sunday. Let me know what time works for you. I can pick you up if you want to carpool. Just bring some water and maybe a light jacket just in case. I heard the trail is mostly shaded so it shouldn't get too hot. There's also a nice spot near the top where you can see the whole valley. Perfect for a quick break and some photos. I'm really looking forward to getting outside for a change.
