Yes, I think starting at dawn is wise. The forecast shows clear skies, so we won't need rain gear. I'll pack the first aid kit and a map. We should decide on a meeting point - I suggest the parking lot by the ranger station. I'll bring my camera for the summit views. Let me confirm with you the gear list: boots, poles, sunscreen, insect repellent, and plenty of snacks. I'll also bring extra water purification tablets just in case. Does that sound good? I'll compile the final itinerary tonight. We can review it together. Let me know if you have any dietary restrictions for the trail mix. I'll also bring a small repair kit for blisters. The trail map shows a few creek crossings, so waterproof socks might be useful. I'll check the weather again in the morning.

I finally read the book you recommended. The plot twists were unexpected, and I found the character development compelling. However, I struggled with the pacing in the middle chapters. I think the author could have trimmed some of the descriptive passages. The ending was satisfying, though. I'd be interested to discuss our interpretations. When is the next meeting? I can host if needed. Let me know if you want me to prepare questions for discussion. Also, I started the sequel and it seems even more intricate. I'll bring my copy to the next gathering if anyone wants to borrow it. I think we should also consider reading something lighter next - maybe a humorous memoir. What do you think? I'll check with the others and send a poll.
