FedEx ParceI Parcel Update: Lost, Returned to Sender

Yeah, I finally got around to working on that deck renovation I've been putting off for months. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The weather cooperated perfectly last Saturday, so I managed to get the old boards up and most of the new ones in place. Still need to finish the railing and staining, but the hard part is done. My neighbor came over and helped with lifting the heavier beams, which saved me a ton of time. We ended up grilling some burgers afterward and just hung out in the yard. I'm actually looking forward to the staining part since it's more of a meditative task. Should wrap it up by next weekend if the forecast holds. The whole project ended up costing less than I budgeted for, which was a nice surprise. I found some good deals on materials at the local hardware store. Let me know if you want to come check it out once it's finished. I think you'd really like how open the space feels now.

Oh, I finally watched that documentary you mentioned last month. I have to say, it was really well done. The cinematography was beautiful and the storytelling kept me engaged the whole time. I ended up watching it twice because there was so much to take in. The director did a fantastic job weaving together all the different perspectives. I recommended it to a few other friends already. Let me know if you have any other suggestions like that. I've been trying to watch more documentaries lately instead of just scrolling through social media. It feels more productive somehow. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation. I owe you one. Next time I'll pick something for us to watch together. Maybe we can do a double feature next weekend if you're free. I'll bring snacks and we can make an evening of it. There's a new series starting next month that looks promising too. I heard the first episode is already getting great reviews.
