Hey, thanks for getting back to me about the book. I started reading it last night and honestly couldn't put it down. The way the author describes the setting makes you feel like you're right there in the middle of everything. I'm about halfway through chapter 8 already. Let's plan to discuss it over coffee this weekend. I know a great little spot downtown that just opened last month. They roast their own beans and the pastries are incredible. Let me know what time works for you. I'm free pretty much all day Saturday. Also, I heard they're doing a live acoustic set in the evening if you're into that kind of thing. Anyway, hope you're having a good week. Talk soon!
I checked out that hiking trail you mentioned near the lake. The views were absolutely stunning and the weather was perfect for a long walk. We packed a picnic and spent a few hours just sitting by the water. Definitely planning to go back next weekend if you want to join.

I finally took your advice and started organizing the garage over the weekend. I found boxes of old photos from our college trip that I completely forgot about. Seeing those brought back so many memories. The hiking trail we took that was way too steep, the diner with the giant pancakes, and that stray dog that followed us around for three days. I'm going to scan the photos and put them in a shared album so everyone can see them. It took me a whole day just to sort through everything, but it feels really good to have some space back in there. I still have to tackle the workbench area, but I'm calling the first part a win.
Also, I tried that new pasta recipe you sent over. It was surprisingly easy to make and the sauce came out perfectly creamy. I added a bit of extra garlic and some fresh basil from the windowsill planter. Even my picky eater loved it, so it's definitely going into the regular rotation. Thanks again for sharing it! Let me know if you find any other good ones.
