Thanks for reaching out about the neighborhood gathering. I think the park pavilion on Elm Street would work well for the first weekend of next month. We should probably set up a few tables for the potluck dishes and maybe some chairs near the grill area. I can bring my portable speaker for background music and a couple of lawn games if people are interested. The weather should be nice that time of year so we might want to have a backup plan in case of rain. The community center has a room we could reserve if needed. Let me know if you want me to coordinate with the parks department about the permit. I think we should aim for the afternoon so families with young children can participate. We could ask a few neighbors to help with setup and cleanup so it does not fall on just a few people. I have some folding tables and chairs I can contribute as well.

I looked over the volunteer schedule you sent and I think the morning shift on Saturday has enough coverage but the afternoon slot could use more people. I can reach out to a few coworkers who mentioned they wanted to help with the spring cleanup event. The tool shed at the community garden needs to be organized before we start planting next month. I spoke with Maria about the seed donation drive and she said they collected more than enough packets for the raised beds. We should probably set aside a morning just for sorting through everything and making sure the seeds are labeled properly. I can bring some small bins and labels from home to help with that. The compost bins also need to be turned and the pathways could use fresh wood chips. Let me know if you want me to coordinate with the hardware store for the chip delivery.
