Yes I think the best route is to take the 405 north until you hit the canyon road. Then follow that east for about 12 miles. The trailhead will be on your left. There is a small parking area. I would park there and then walk up the service road another half mile. You will see a sign for the loop. We did this last fall and it was great. The leaves were changing. It was not too crowded either. Let me know if you need to borrow my backpack. It is a 50 liter one that is lighter than most. I can drop it by tonight if that works. We can grab coffee and talk about the route more. Regarding the campsite permits they are first come first served so try to arrive early on a Thursday if possible. The ranger station is open at 8am. Also check the weather because they close the road if it rains heavily. I think you will really like the views from the ridge. It takes about six hours total if you take breaks. There is a stream crossing near the halfway point so bring a dry pair of socks. I can share the GPS coordinates too.

I think we should go with the maroon trim instead of the navy. It will match the brick better overall. We looked at samples last week and the maroon had a warmer tone. The builder said it would be easier to maintain too. For the kitchen I would go with a lighter countertop maybe a white quartz with subtle gray veins. It will open up the space and reflect more light. We need to finalize the backsplash by Wednesday. I can send you the link to the tile we looked at online. They have a herringbone pattern that would look great. Also did you check on the permit for the fence? The city requires a setback of three feet from the property line.
