Yeah I totally get what you mean about finding time to work on the yard. I've been trying to get my vegetable bed ready for spring but the weather keeps throwing curveballs. Last weekend I finally got the soil turned over and added some compost. I think I'm going to try tomatoes and peppers this year maybe some basil too. My neighbor swears by raised beds but I'm sticking with the ground plot for now. I also need to figure out what to do about the shady corner near the fence nothing seems to grow well there. I heard hostas might work but I want something a bit more interesting. Anyway let me know if you want to swap plant starts when the time comes. I'll probably have extra if things go well. Oh and thanks for the tip about that soil mix it made a big difference. I also picked up a new trowel and some pruning shears vdMIIqErcX4TZoE been meaning to ask if you've tried that new garden center on the north side of town I heard they have a good selection of perennials and the staff actually knows what they're talking about.

I finally sat down and watched that documentary series everyone keeps talking about. I was skeptical at first but it really pulled me in after the first episode. The cinematography is stunning and the storytelling is surprisingly tight for a multi-part series. I ended up binge-watching three episodes in one night which I never do anymore. The soundtrack is also really well done it sets the mood without being overpowering. I would recommend starting it on a weekend when you have time to really get absorbed. Let me know if you end up watching it I would love to hear what you think about the second episode especially. There is a twist in that one that I did not see coming at all. Also I finished that book you lent me and I really enjoyed it. The writing style reminded me a bit of that author we used to read in college. I will drop it off next time I am in your neighborhood. Let me know if you want to grab coffee when I do it has been too long since we caught up properly.
