150.00 + Pixel 8 Phone: Your service has been restored

yeah i finally got around to trying that new hiking trail you mentioned last week. honestly it was tougher than i expected but the view at the top was worth every step. we started around 7am which helped avoid the heat and the crowds. next time ill bring more water though. the switchbacks near the summit were no joke. i think we clocked around 8 miles total. definitely want to go back when the wildflowers are in bloom. thanks for the recommendation. also i saw a couple of deer about halfway up which was pretty cool. the trail markers were easy to follow once we found the starting point. parking was a bit tricky but we got there early enough and found a spot near the trailhead.

the weather was perfect too not too hot and just a light breeze at the top. we packed some sandwiches and ate them overlooking the valley. really peaceful. i took some photos but they dont quite capture how expansive the view was. next time i might try going up with someone who knows the area better to explore some of the side paths. overall a great day out and exactly the kind of reset i needed.

so i finally watched that documentary you were talking about. really well done. the cinematography was stunning and the storytelling kept me engaged the whole time. i had no idea about some of those historical details they uncovered. SsNKvBMOxTKfA definitely makes you think differently about the whole subject. i watched it over two nights because there was so much to take in. the interviews were really insightful too. let me know if you have any other recommendations. im always looking for good documentaries to add to my list. the soundtrack was surprisingly good as well. overall a solid 9 out of 10 from me.

the pacing was perfect and it never felt like it dragged. some documentaries try to cover too much ground but this one really focused on a few key stories and explored them deeply. i loved the archival footage they used it added so much context. my partner watched the second half with me and they were equally impressed. we ended up talking about it for an hour after the credits rolled. definitely one of the better things ive seen this year. highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys thoughtful storytelling.
