0maha Steak's Steak Sampler - 5OO Samples Remain - Get Yours Today 0nly

I think we should aim for the second weekend next month for the get-together. The forecast tends to be milder that time of year and everyone seemed to prefer that window when I checked. I was thinking we could keep the menu simple with some grilled items and a few sides that can be prepared ahead of time. Sarah mentioned she could bring her potato salad and Mark offered to handle drinks if we coordinate the list. The park shelter is available for reservation and costs about the same as last year. I reserved it provisionally already so we have a spot locked in. Let me know if you want to adjust the date before I confirm it. We should probably finalize the guest count within the next week so I can update the reservation if needed.

I started reading that novel you recommended and I can see why you thought I would enjoy it. The pacing is deliberate but the character development draws you in gradually. I am about a third of the way through and the setting reminds me of some of the coastal towns we visited a few summers ago. The author has a way of describing the environment that feels immersive without being overly detailed. I would be interested to hear what you thought about the later chapters because I have a feeling the narrative shifts direction based on some early clues. Have you read anything else by this author or was this your first exposure to their work. I might look for more if the second half holds up as well as the first.

Also I wanted to ask if you have seen the updated schedule for the community garden plots. They sent out an email last week with the revised layout and the new watering assignments. The map shows a few paths rerouted near the compost area which should make it easier to access the bins without walking through the beds. Let me know if you haven't seen it yet and I can forward the information along.
