You asked about that hiking trail we did last spring and I finally found the map we used. It was the Blue Ridge loop near the old fire tower. The trailhead is about a mile past the ranger station on Route 12. Parking is limited so we had to get there pretty early. The elevation gain is moderate but there is a really nice waterfall about halfway through. We packed sandwiches and ate at the summit. The weather was perfect that day not too humid and just a light breeze. It took us about four hours round trip with stops for photos.
