Ace points expire tomorrow - use them now

Hey, I finally got around to trying that hiking trail you mentioned last month. The one up near the ridge with the waterfall about halfway—it was exactly what I needed after all the rain we had. I brought a lunch and just sat on the rocks for an hour listening to the water. The trail was a little muddy in spots but nothing a good pair of boots couldn't handle. I saw a couple of deer on the way back and the light was golden through the trees. I ended up taking way more photos than I planned. I think I counted like six different kinds of ferns along the path. Anyway, I wanted to say thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely go back when the leaves change next month. I am thinking of trying the longer loop that branches off near the summit—have you done that one yet or is it more of a full-day commitment? I will text you some of the photos 9Xr8XIFZE3vfJG sometime this week if I get a chance to sort through them. Let me know if you want to go again soon—maybe next Saturday morning before it gets too warm. We could grab coffee on the way. Hope all is well on your end.

Hey, I ended up trying that new pasta recipe you sent over last weekend and honestly it was way easier than I expected. I was a little skeptical about the sauce because I usually do something simpler but the extra steps were worth it. I added a bit of lemon zest at the end and that really brightened everything up. I also swapped the regular basil for the purple kind from the farmer's market and it looked really nice on the plate. I made enough for leftovers and I am actually looking forward to lunch tomorrow because of it. I think next time I will try it with a little more garlic and maybe some toasted breadcrumbs on top for crunch. My roommate walked in while I was finishing and asked for the recipe so you have officially started a chain reaction. Let me know if you come across any other good ones especially anything that works well for meal prep during the week. I am trying to cook more at home and your recommendations have been solid so far. Anyway just wanted to share how it turned out and say thanks. Hope you are having a good week.
