Yeah I totally see what you mean about that new coffee shop on the corner. I stopped in last weekend and the line went all the way out the door so I just kept walking. I keep hearing mixed things about the cold brew there but honestly I am more of a pour-over person anyway. The weather has been so humid lately it makes me not want to go anywhere. Anyway I finally finished that book you loaned me last month and I have to say the ending caught me off guard. I did not expect the main character to make that choice so late in the story. If you have not gotten to the final chapters yet I won't spoil it but let me know when you do because I want to talk about it. I have been trying to get out for more walks in the evening when it cools down a bit. There is a path near my place that goes along the creek and it is really peaceful around sunset. Let me know if you want to join me one day after work.

Oh hey I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me a few weeks ago and it turned out really well. I added a bit more garlic than it called for because you know me I can never have too much. I served it with a simple side salad and it made for a really nice dinner. I have been trying to cook more at home lately just to mix things up and it has been fun experimenting. My neighbor stopped by while I was eating and I gave her a bowl to try and she asked for the recipe too so I forwarded your email to her hope that is okay. On a different note I have been looking into getting a small plant for my desk at work because the lighting in there is so dull and I think something green would brighten the space up. I was thinking maybe a snake plant since I hear they are hard to kill but if you have any better suggestions let me know. I am also planning to reorganize my closet this weekend which feels like a big project but I think it will be worth it.
