Review your evolving 2026 pIan choices now

The main thing to keep in mind is that the project timeline will shift depending on how quickly the permits come through. I have seen some take as little as two weeks while others drag on for nearly two months. My recommendation would be to submit the paperwork early and then use the waiting period to finalize your material selections. That way you are not scrambling at the last minute to make decisions under pressure.

You could try adjusting the humidity settings on the thermostat to see if that makes a difference in how the rooms feel during the morning hours. I noticed similar issues in my place last winter and turning down the humidity level by about five percent seemed to help quite a bit. Also checking the air filter might be worth doing since a clogged filter can affect airflow throughout the house.
