I finally made it out to that trail you recommended near the lake. The weather was perfect last Saturday so I decided to just go for it. The drive took about an hour and a half but it was worth it. The path was well marked and the views at the top were incredible. I brought a packed lunch and just sat there for a while taking it all in. Saw a few deer along the way which was a nice surprise. The whole loop took about four hours with plenty of breaks. I'm already planning to go back next month when the leaves start changing. You should come along if you're free. It would be fun to explore together and you probably know some other good trails in the area too. Let me know what you think and we can figure out a weekend that works for both of us.

I also wanted to ask about that podcast you mentioned during our last call. I finally started listening and I'm hooked. The storytelling style is really engaging and the episodes fly by. I've been listening during my commute and it makes the drive go much faster.

I started reading that book series you mentioned a while back. I'm halfway through the second one now and I can't put it down. The character development is really well done and the plot keeps surprising me. I wasn't sure about it at first because the beginning felt a bit slow but I'm glad I stuck with it. The world building is quite intricate and I find myself thinking about the story even when I'm not reading. I've been staying up way too late on weeknights telling myself just one more chapter.

My partner keeps asking me what's so interesting and I've been trying to explain it without giving anything away. I think they might want to read it next. Do you know if there's a third one coming out soon I heard someone mention it might be in the works but I wasn't sure if that was confirmed yet.
