I spent a good fifteen minutes looking for my car keys, tearing the house apart, shaking out jackets, checking the couch cushions, P7sNo6HIz3r even looking in the trash can. Okay, so I finally started that sourdough starter I kept talking about. It has been about a week now, and it actually smells pretty good, P7sNo6HIz3r kind of tangy and fruity. I have been feeding it twice a day, and it doubles in size like clockwork. I attempted my first loaf yesterday, and while it did not turn out as pretty as the ones on social media, it tasted like real bread. The crumb was a bit dense, and the scoring was a disaster, but the crust was beautifully crispy and the inside was soft. My whole apartment smelled like a bakery. I think I am hooked.
