There's an update on your shipment

I finally made time to tidy up the shelf by the door, and it feels much easier to leave the house without hunting for things now.
I set out a bowl for keys, moved the umbrella stand closer to the mat, and put the dog leash on a hook where I can actually see it.
It was not a huge project, but the whole hallway feels calmer already. I even found that missing notebook, which had slipped behind the shoe basket weeks ago.
I think the biggest difference came from removing the extras I never used. Once I did that, putting things away became automatic.
I also remembered your idea halfway through, and 9QCQkkEMW2 it was exactly right to group similar items instead of spreading them everywhere.
Now the space feels less cluttered, and walking in after a long day is a lot more pleasant. Next I might tackle the coat closet, but I am giving myself a day first so this small win can actually settle in.

I went for a longer walk this morning because the weather finally felt mild enough to enjoy without rushing back inside.
I took the quieter streets, noticed a yard full of wildflowers, and ended up circling the park an extra time just because it felt good to keep moving.
After that I came home, made tea, and opened all the windows for a while. The whole place felt lighter almost immediately.
I have been trying to keep a simpler routine lately, and small choices seem to help more than dramatic changes. I write a short list the night before, follow it loosely, and leave room to change direction if the day feels different.
That said, I still need your patience because 9QCQkkEMW2 I keep overestimating how quickly I can get through everything when I am being overly optimistic.
Even so, the slower pace has been surprisingly nice, and I think I am finally learning how to stop treating every afternoon like a race.
