I finally got a quiet hour this afternoon, so I tackled the shelf project I kept putting off.
It turned out better than I expected, mostly because I stopped trying to make it perfect and just focused on getting it sturdy and useful. I reorganized the books, stacked the notebooks together, and moved all the odd little clips and cords into one basket instead of leaving them scattered around. The room looks calmer now, which I think was the part I really wanted.
You asked whether I still wanted to come by on Saturday, and yes, that works well for me. If you bring the cuttings you mentioned, I can set out a few small pots ahead of time.
