Yeah I finally made it out to that trail we talked about last month. It was way better than I expected honestly. The weather held up even though the forecast was iffy in the morning. We started around 7am to beat the crowd and it was totally worth it. The path was a bit muddy in spots but nothing too bad. Saw some really nice views at the top. ZGcvQvGJa2 I wish we had brought more water though because it got warmer than we thought. Next time I will definitely pack extra snacks too. There is a small cafe about a mile from the trailhead that we stopped at on the way back and their iced tea was perfect. You should come with us next time I think you would really enjoy the whole loop. It took us about four hours total with a few short breaks. Let me know if you want details on the route.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended and I have to say it was really engaging from the first chapter. The writing style took me a minute to get used to but once I settled into it I could not put it down. I finished it in about three days which is fast for me. The character development was really well done especially the way the author handled the backstory reveals. I found myself thinking about it during the day which is always a good sign. Have you read anything else by the same author I want to know if their other work is similar. I might check out their earlier book next. Also I saw that there is a discussion group meeting at the library next month if you are interested in going. I think it would be fun to hear what other people thought about the ending.
