Okay so I checked the weather again and now it says clear for the whole stretch, which is a little surprising because earlier it looked like rain would roll in around noon. I think we should still bring a couple of layers just in case the wind picks up near the ridge. I already packed the bin with the extra water bottles and those little bags of trail mix from the pantry. If we head out by nine we can beat the line at the ranger station and still have time to loop the long way back. Let me know if you want to drive or if I should just pick you up on the way out.
