I finally got around to cleaning out the garage yesterday, but honestly it was mostly just rearranging the same four boxes and pretending the corner by the water heater does not exist. Took a break around noon and sat on the back step with a sandwich and a warm can of seltzer. The neighbor was out messing with his hedge trimmer again, and we ended up talking about mulch for twenty minutes.
He keeps insisting the dark brown is better than the cedar red, but I still have not decided. Anyway, the weather was decent and the whole afternoon felt slower than it actually was. I might do the same thing next weekend without the pretending part.
